Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  3. Toss the chicken thighs with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  5. Arrange the chicken thighs on the rack.
Cooking
  1. Bake the chicken thighs in the preheated oven for 25-40 minutes, until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Bone-in thighs typically take longer.
  2. For extra crispiness, broil for an additional minute or two if desired.
