Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Coat the salmon fillets in olive oil.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the salmon, and season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle with fresh herbs.
Cooking
- Place the salmon on a baking sheet, optionally lined with foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven until edges are golden and the center is flaky, about 15-20 minutes.
- Check for doneness at the ten-minute mark.
Notes
Don't overbake the salmon as it dries out quickly. Let it rest for a few minutes after removing from the oven before slicing. Works well with roasted veggies or rice.
