  • 2 cups Cheese (sharp cheddar or Monterey Jack) Recommended for optimal meltiness
  • 2 cups Noodles, macaroni or gluten-free options You can also layer sliced potatoes instead
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup Adds creaminess to the casserole
  • 1 cup Mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn) Add more for additional nutrients

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked beef, noodles, cream of mushroom soup, and mixed vegetables. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a casserole dish and spread evenly.
  5. Top with shredded cheese.
Baking
  1. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

This casserole can be customized with various vegetables or cheese types. For a healthier option, use leaner beef and add more veggies.
